Well, none of us wants to even think about this yet, but the reality is that summer will fly by and it will be Back To School before any of us thinks too long about it. In this world, there are two kinds of parents; the kind of parents who receive the school supply shopping list for the next year and buy everything in June, then there’s the rest of us. Lol
No matter which kind you are, you should find this blog helpful. For reference, I have two middle school children, so often it is less expensive for me to purchase things in bulk, than to purchase them one at a time. I figured that since I was price shopping between Walmart and Amazon for school supplies, I should just share with the rest of the class. I put the prices as of the writing of this blog post in July 2022, so hopefully they stay the same.

I personally purchase some supplies from both Amazon and Walmart, because I’m always chasing the deals. I also made every attempt to use the same exact, or nearly exact same items. That’s a difference of $40.83. Meaning it was roughly 60% more expensive at Walmart. Now, it should be said that I chose seven supplies at random to run this test on. If you chose different supplies, you may find different results. In fact, if you do conduct this test yourself, please share your results below. The goal is for us all to find the least expensive supplies.
